Billed as the only fashion show of the year that changes the lives of homeless women--the event featured residents of Susan's Place, our 200-bed shelter for homeless women in the Bronx, as models.
Since opening the shelter in 2008, over 900 women have moved out of Susan's Place and into permanent housing. Less than 8% become homeless again. Care for the Homeless is changing lives every day. We're on the front lines of a crisis. Over 60,000 men, women and children are homeless every night in NYC. The contributions raised by this event provide critical services to the most vulnerable, at a time when they need our help the most.
